    I'm new to using a notebook. I never really like the touchpad but i figured i would get used to it. I've found the eraserhead point easier to get used to. I use the touchpad as well but the pointer is much better while I'm typing. As for screen size I like to see as much as possible and I figued that 15' is good without being too big and the 7000 series is a bit thinner so I think it makes up for it. Again I'm new to notebooks so if there were any problems with the keyboard I haven't noticed them. It does seem a bit warm but it hasn't been any problem either.

    correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that thinner=easier to break when carrying around in backpack.
