    That's a little more comforting.

Maybe something about his configuration stalled it?

    Mine is S6210, 1.6Ghz, 1GB RAM, 60 GIG w/ 7200rpm, DVD/CDRW...

    hopefully all turns out well.

That's quick. Well I ordered mine Tuesday night and I am yet to have received a tracking number... I'm just being really impatient :) - my last new computer was in 1997, so it's been a long time.

Wow, 1997. You should be very pleased with your new computer. You will have a lot less headaches [:)].

Same config as the one I ordered from P1....lessee, I ordered on 7/2. I got an e-mail from them on 7/6 saying my original configuration requested was a factory order, but that they had a few on-hand with the DVD burner (I didn't particularly care about that). I said "shoots, brah,,,,,geeev 'em." They were waiting on the 72K60's which arrived the next day...they shipped on 7/7, but due to FedEx having to fly west against the revolution of the planet, their 2nd Day Air actually arrives tomorrow.

    Still.....pretty good, yeh??

The month wait was due to Fujitsu being behind. I think everyone who ordered around that time had the same problem. I tracked it once Fujitsu shipped it and when Portable One had it, they shipped it within a day so that wasn't where the delay was. I chalked it up to bad luck and the belief that Fujitsu wanted to be extra sure that my notebook was perfect. [8D][8D][8D]

Oh, most definately. It looks and works great and I am extremely pleased. Although it seems everyone is going for the 6000 series instead of the 7000 series.

I went for the Fujitsu S6210 over the S7000 because of the price. I might have liked to have an eraser head pointing device, but its not a big deal.

I don't like the stick point at all, but I do like smaller screen.

I definitely agree about the smaller screen. I dont see why I would want a bigger one.

Im not a huge fan of the pointing head, but its a nice option. Some people prefer that to the touchpad, although I dont think its as accurate. Oh well, to each his(or her) own.
