Discuss the issue with Zappos on the phone. Stay polite, but press the issue and let them know you're a loyal customer and that this order is very important to you. It's far easier to say "no" to someone via chat than by voice.

paypal dispute might be possible. debit card chargeback is probably not realistic.

What are the chances I would win the dispute, considering there was confirmation of a delivery/signature?

Id do what midnightsun has suggested before attempting a chargeback.

Since you ended up using a debit card instead of credit, you likely can't do a chargeback.

Check with your bank. Debit cards (at least Visa / MC) are supposed to have the same protections as the credit cards. Only difference is it's YOUR money that's held up and not theirs.

You would probably win a Paypal dispute. Just detail what happened.

If you're on the last resort route, try the paypal dispute first. Then, if that fails, talk to your bank.

I just re-checked the tracking number. The shipping weight was recorded as .10lbs, or only 45 grams. This doesn't make any sense at all since I ordered 3 pairs of shoes...and I'm sure 3 pairs would equate to at least 100-200 grams a piece.

Could this be taken into consideration should I open a paypal dispute?

The packaging would weigh more than that... I would say try and tell Zappos about the weight discrepancy, by phone if at all possible, and if that fails, proceed to use PayPal...

With that information on record, it would certainly help your paypal dispute. Of course, try to resolve it with Zappos first. If you do a paypal dispute, that will eliminate any chances of working it out with Zappos, and if it doesn't go your way, you just sunk two options with one attempted resolution.

Call Zappos again, try to work it out with them based on this new information.

If that still fails, try a paypal dispute, then the bank.
