have this from the HP website in germany
would you consider this the best build that is possible in a 2kg light 15 inch notebook at this moment?

    -best display on the market.
    -best processor
-graphic card is not for gaming , im not gamer
    ...

the only downside is the price ... why does this model cost 5955 euros (6785 usd)
its waaaay cheaper on the USA website why is that ?

any way to get the same price in the german hp online store ?

Yeah please fill out the sticky for what you actually want. This seems horrendous. For 6000 dollars you should be able to get way more. Also, do you even need a quadro? The premium your paying for it is enourmous.

but the dreamcolor display and the weight of 2kg is one of the most important things to me ... a clevo does not even come close only performance wise..

there is only the quadro M1000M as option

the xeon prozessor... well is the other alternatives as good as the xeon ?

The Xeon is great, but you can get faster desktop CPUs in laptops, and for far less money. I'm not saying what you looking at is bad. It's a decent laptop with decent build, screen, performance and support, but it isn't the fastest thing, and the price is plain ridiculous.
Of course, given you haven't said what you want the laptop for, there is no way to tell if the CPU is even that relevant to you.

@ApopoBanana you need a configuration with lowest possible amount RAM and cheapest possible storage; these upgrades are MUCH cheaper bought separately. Also, battery is too small, and the CPU is overkill, price-wise. Paying as much as HP charges for 100Mhz difference between 1545M and 1505M ($400 in USA, for example) is simply ridiculous. No fingerprint reader must be a joke. While this machine has spectacular display, performance-wise - nothing special.

P750DM (NP9758) is a much better choice, you can get xeon CPU and quadro GPU if needed.

The whole laptop is also capable of CPU and GPU upgrade if that needs to be done in the future.

Which applications will you run that would benefit from workstation grpahics?

Quadro M1000M delivers significantly worse performance in many creative applications compared to recent gaming mobile GPUs like 970M etc; however, some specific programs do need workstation GPU.

I didn't mention Clevo, and again please fill out the sticky so we know WHAT its for. Most people overestimate what they need. There are very few legit reasons to need a xeon and a quadro. You may have them but fill out the sticky that is MANDATORY, so we can help you out better please.

MSI or Eurocom with Quadro M5500M
    and Xeon 1575M v5 or Xeon 1585M v5

    or the 1280 v5
You should be able to get these specs for the same price?

cons: 4-5x heavier than the OP's

    Eurocom P5 Pro ( 2x SATA and 2x M.2 slots and 4 ram slots )

You may need to buy your own ECC Memory modules since they only offer the regular ones.

    Xeon 1281 v3
    K5100M

    Eurocom P5 Pro SE ( 2x SATA and 2x M.2 slots and 4 ram slots )

    Xeon 1281 v3
    K5100M

can you exchange the GPU and CPU in the HP ZBOOK studio g3 yourself ?

and put in your own ram and harddrive too?

which ones are the best configurations you can buy additonally if you want to upgrade yuorself ?
