Is this a good deal for the T420?

    Hey guys, I'm wondering how you guys think of this T420 deal. I want to replace my old 1420 with a new laptop for university. This config costs CDN $843.16 tax included.

    IMO unless you plan to upgrade to i7 later by yourself, T420i may save you some extra bucks. for i5 2410m & 4GBx1 ram, and rest same specced T420i, the current deal is around $720

    Agreed. There isn't much difference between the i5 and i3, and the money is better spent in upgrading RAM or an SSD
