Is there any 3200MHz CL20 (or better) non-XMP RAM other than HyperX Impact?

    3200C22 is like £60 for 16GB but 3000C20 HyperX Impact is £85

There are others such as Crucial Ballistix which is 3200C16 and only £65 but it needs XMP which my laptop doesn't have.

Are there any other manufacturers who make something better than 3200C22 which isn't so expensive?

I currently have 2666C15 but I don't think it's as good as 3200Mhz because it limits the speed of infinity fabric to 1333Mhz instead of 1600Mhz. Can't really find any comparisons as to how much of a difference this actually makes however.

    Thanks

Well if true that stinks. Low voltage usually lets it run at advertised speeds. The listing should be change over to add XMP. My men and 4800h is running cas22 3200 and it work fine. I do not think cas20 would be worth the extra cost.

Those impacts are as good as it gets, and as I have said before in other threads, most oems, and resellers do not sell past 2666mhz due to stability issues, largely due to PCH being uncooled I think, while desktop mobos usually are cooled. That said, if you want to go past that with those chips and outside of xmp, look at a program called thaiphoon burner. Honestly though ram doesnt make that much of a difference.

I ended up getting 16GB of Crucial 3200C22 for £54 so I'll just stick with that.

Yeah a lot of companies don't really disclose stuff like non-XMP specs. Kingston seem to be the best for that

Never heard of that. Could that be used to run say Crucial Ballistix at 3200C16 without XMP/DOCP support?

16GB CL22 is sold in my country @ about 60pounds/stick

...and this is supplied to some others of the NH5#A variant resold under the AfterShock badge.
RAM prices in my country is most of the time more expensive than any other countries.

So... this may turn out to be little more budget friendly over at your side.
