I have an old ASUS X5DIJ (K50IJ) laptop and I'm wondering if it is upgradeable to Windows 10.

    The specs are:

    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Windows 7 Home Premium (32-bit) SP 1

    4GB DDR2 SDRAM

    Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2GHz

Graphics: Mobile Intel 45 Express Chipset Family (Microsoft - WDDM 1.1)

    Monitor: CPT CLAA156WA11A

    HDD: ST9500325AS ATA 500GB

WiFi: Atheros AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

Is the hardware up to it?

I contacted ASUS who said they have no drivers available for Win 10. But I know from updating the BIOS that they did not not have the latest version of that available on their website (until I pointed this out and it miraculously appeared!). So maybe they cannot be relied upon and there are suitable drivers available elsewhere. Is that likely? If so, where?

    Thanks.

You should grab at least a cheap SSD, windows 10 on such an old HDD will be so slow that it will hurt.
The rest will work with the generic drivers that windows update installs.
