Intel SSDs: look better in black or silver

    Its mostly internal anyways right. Who cares how it looks. But, if I had to choose, I'd say the black one looks better. I guess they needed to differentiate the two so people don't accidentally get it mixed up or shafted. But in the future when intel releases more and more, color options runout. Seagate, WD and hitachi have no problem with releasing newer gen drives that look almost identical to the older ones, except for model number on the sticker.

    What color do you prefer for intel SSDs

    It doesn't really matter to me if it's going inside of my system anyway.

    Same here... ur not going to have a transparent pannel in your laptop to stare at it so the colour really doesn't matter.

    I dunno...maybe the silver or other color ones run cooler? Food for thought.

    I would choose the silver one seeing as my case has a window, so any sunlight that hit the SSD would be reflected rather than absorbed as heat energy!

    yah, I had the same Idea... then my eye drifted to the massive heatsink over top of the i7 CPU and realized that it really wouldn't matter...

    for color? metallic (Blue or Green or Red) FTW!!!!
