Upon installing 11.5, windows cannot boot past the logo screen. Anyone experiencing this?

Which exact Intel RST 11.5 build did you install? Is it the newest (now recalled) 11.5.0.1207? That version worked for me, but has a memory leak.

    Yup. 11.5.0.1207.

I first uninstalled 10.8, restarted, then proceeded to 11.5.0.1207. After that, windows won't boot up past the logo screen. I thought mainly bec the description for the download link (http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=21593) was for desktop boards, but it seems other vaio z owners installed theirs successfully.

I think these just aren't meant for the Intel 5 series chipsets. The drivers only mention mainboards with a 6 or 7 series chipset in their compatibility list. All the other chipsets are stuck on 11.0.

Very curious about whether these will be 100% compatible with the z21's raid 0 :)

That was apparently true for previous 11.X versions, but see the release notes/Read Me file and it does say it supports series 5 chipsets.

Thank you namaiki - you have come through again! Have you updated to 11.6?

After creating a bullet proof backup or disk image, why not just install it, see if it fires up (I think it will, since earlier versions did on namaiki's Z1) and check for TRIM support. I will personally see to it that you are rewarded for being the pioneer. :D

Pyr0: we need you to weigh in here!

I have installed this on the S13P. It locked up my laptop on the first reboot. Forced it to shutdown and worked fine every since.

I have noticed that it this driver causes the optical drive to re-initialise every time file explorer is refreshed. It did not happen with the Lenovo 11.2 drivers. Otherwise, works perfectly.

Unfortunately, I'm depending too much on a working primary laptop right now... My spare BZ isn't capable of functioning as a failover right away.
