    I bought a ultrabook

wondering how to improve my score of 5300 in cloudgate with the intel hd 615....notebookcheck says it can score 7800 for graphics im hitting 5300 max with new drivers...should i try intels drivers on their site>?

if anyone here knows how to squeeze out more juice from this cpu/gpu I would appreciate it.

    thanks in advance

I know its asus i cringe but i need the battery life

    8gb ram
    m3 7th gen
    256gb ssd
    1080p matte
    intel 615 hd

and yes this laptop actually gets 10 hours with brightness and keyboard lights on while actually doing stuff.. i get 20 hours with typical manufactures guidelines for advertising battery life....aka idle

not sure why im scoring so low....Im in no way a rookie to computers...just thought id chime in and ask for help solving this faster...i think its the power limit of my cpu but heck what do i know.....next thing everyones probably thinking is undervolt....i could...just want to know if theres something im missing

actually im a rookie with this type of processor....was wondering how i prevent power limit throttling? i lowered the core voltage offset to -.7 but that however did nothing

ok so the problem is powerlimit throttling. and cannot be lifted with XTU.

The solution... powerplan settings-advanced settings-processor power management- lower min to 5 and raise max or lower it to 90 percent

all you have done is limit the cpu speed and the power needed to run at higher clocks....you will get lower cpu scores but as in my case your gpu score in cloudgate can go from 20fps to 31fps

long story short...slowing down the cpu allows me to play tomb raider at 1080p normal settings on a M3 7y30 processor and with the intel hd 615.

instead of playing grid on verylow at 25-22 fps i can now set the important settings to high or ultra and net 28-30 fps. such as textures and shaders ectera.

I hope this helps 1 or 2 people out
