Hello, i have an i7-9750H and although i don't really plan on upgrading, i'd like to know if it's possible to upgrade to an core i9-9880H or i9-9980HK. My computer is an Tongfang GK5CP6V, and the reseller is Avell. The chipset is an Intel HM370. I have attached some CPU-Z photos so you can have more info about the computer.

The CPU is soldered onto the motherboard. No upgrading.

Yes, i know it is soldered. However i've seen some upgrades to soldered CPUs, that's why i'm asking whether it is upgradeable. I mean - if you ignore the fact that it is soldered, is it possible?

If you can find such CPU in a couple years in BGA form at all, and you have a BGA rework station, sure you can swap the CPU, but your VRM's might not be up to the task.
Just check that the needed microcode is present on the BIOS.

I kinda wanted to do it to my GT72, by swaping the 4720HQ by a 4890HQ, good luck finding one, and when then show up its at 400-500€, for that price I could get a whole motherboard..

If you search at taobao you can even find shops that say they do CPU upgrades:

There is also a store called screwmsi(but its screw with an F if you get it) that also offers such upgrades, but shipping to and from China, plus customs, plus the cost of the service, plus the cost of the parts you are in new laptop price range..
If you can do it yourself and dont mind killing your mobo, this guys say they sell you one for 250$ more or less..:
