    i9 starting at $1400 and upwards... what else would you be paying... :eek:

    Some people has no problem with that, and they can pay easily for a REG with $15K, not me for sure :).

    Intel really has to adjust their naming convention, when the i9 launches they literally throw logic out the window.

    And yes I am prepared for you die-hards to tell me that 77xx is a i7 and 78xx and 79xx is a i9, but it still makes no sense.

    Actually for the first time ever it does make sense. Till now we had i7s on two different sockets - "a bit" confusing, no? Now we have clear differentiation.

    No more than having zeons on both sockets or having i7s on different generations of sockets

    Amd finally put something out that made intel have to work for performance crown last time this happened we got core 2 and then nahalem
