I installed an Option GTM378 WWAN card in my Panasonic W5. The WWAN option showed up in the bios and I made sure it was enabled. I also made sure to adjust the jumpers to the HSDPA setting. Yet when I try to use the GlobalTrotter application, the software detects the WWAN card but it fails to connect with an error message stating: "Radio is off".

I have no clue as to what could be wrong. I even tried the wwan card in a Panasonic T5 and I get the same message. Could this be a driver issue?

Any sort of help would be appreciated!

Do you have a wireless switch utility icon on the taskbar?
Its a normal aplication on newer toughbooks and has a software switch to turn bluetooth and wireless on

WLAN works perfectly and the switch is in the "on" position.

If you find the solution let us know. I have a T5 and I tried to install the WWAN with several different cards and I've had no luck. I tried the same option mini-card also.
