Inspiron 6400/E1505 weight

    Hi,


    Does anybody know what the actual weight of an Inspiron 6400/E1505 is? The website claims 2.8kg is a basic configuration. I was thinking of getting one with an X1400, is that going to add to the weight?

    Yeah, It will add a bit to the weight. I
    m getting my Fully speced out one tomorrow, so I'll weigh it and let you know.

    i got mine with a x1300 and it barely added any weight
    maybe .1 kg
    i added a few other things and mine ended up weighing 3.0 kg
    hope this helps
    its a great laptop, you will love it

    My e1505 with extended battery weighs exactly 6.8 pounds.

    mine with a 9-cell battery and x1400 graphic card weighs 3.1 kg. A bit more than i expected but it's worth it =)
