Dodgy. They've sunk to a new low... impressive, I didn't think that was possible.

Everyone OP has been updated on the issue. Looks like they didn't like getting caught and trying to be all lovey dovey about it.

Bahaha I went to the website for the fun of it! MINE AWAY! I cannot believe the audacity to intentionally infect people's computers while browsing your site LOL! While telling people you are doing it in the TOS! Bahaha. On my Sager alone it used about 50 to 60W of extra power costing you quite a bit more to use the site XD.

Luckily I haven't been to there for a while.

At the same time it's kinda sad though as it houses some useful info for 2570p (which I have), since the thread here was long gone.

lol so I saved a couple of pages from the site that has information that I don't want lost. Just installed a new antivirus program and it's picked the coinhive.min.js.download file up and thrown it out. Got curious so I opened up techinferno in Internet Explorer and the antivirus software went nuts trying to stop it XD

Better install a Virus scanner like Kaspersky right away to get rid of the bitcoin miner...
Sorry for that but we already left back in December 2016 and are no longer associated whatsoever.

@Perma must anti-viruses should be picking up coinhive and killing it by now, i really don't blame you leaving the site after what they did to you and fellow modders. Not sure about Windows Defender though as i know some people will be running that only. Best option is to not go to the site its a shady site at best now.
