Hello everyone. I have a Fujitsu T732 that has image retention issues. This issue has occurred two times already. The first time is a few weeks after buying this notebook, and the second time about a month after I replaced the lcd screen. The specs: Intel Core i5-3210M 2.5 ghz, 6 gb ram, HM76 chipset. I'm using a universal power adapter that outputs 4.74A instead of the 4.22A as specified by the OEM adapter.

I bought this notebook second handed on ebay two months ago. The notebook was in ok condition, except the USB 3.0 port didn't work (found out about this issue on another thread). About a few weeks later, I started getting this issue on my lcd. And I bought a replacement one off ebay. It worked for about a month, then this issue started to occur again. When browsing the web for example, the title bar of firefox would be burned in screen and I can see it faintly after leaving it for a few minutes.

I tried doing some research about this, but apparently this is an isolated case. I didn't find other information about this. I need some advice. I don't want to bother spending money on another replacement lcd screen just for it to fail again. But I also don't want this notebook to go to waste. It really is a decent notebook.

Your help will be appreciated. Thanks!

More amps is OK, it's voltage that should be matching (or quite close).

Sadly I have no idea what causes your problem. I had a T734 which is pretty much the same machine with new motherboard, never had this issue.
