Hello everyone. I'll buy a gaming laptop that withstand at least five year, because in my country (Turkey) PC's are very expensive for our currency. I want durable material, a good and durable graphic card that will play games for years (I don't need to play games on ultra settings, I can even play on low settings.). I don't need mechanical keyboard, RGB keyboard or other thing like that. I'm still using my 6 years old notebook (Samsung NP350V5C), so I don't have extreme expectations. Actually I'm think to buy this model: https://www.notebookcheck.net/MSI-GL63-8SE-071.412779.0.html And after purchasing, I'll upgrade it with 16 gb RAM and 500GB SSD. But is it the best choise for me? PS: Sorry for my English. I also fill this: 1) What is your budget? My bugdet is 1400 Euros 2) What size notebook would you prefer? Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen 3) Which country will you buying this notebook? Germany (I'll want from my relative) or Turkey (low probability) 4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like? a. Like: MSI b. Dislike: There's no any brand. 5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistributed? No. 6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook? I'll play games mostly, and sometimes surf around the web exc... 7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both? Yes, I'll carry it with me but weight is not important for me. I can carry a heavy notebook. 8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? (If so, please state which games or types of games?) Yes. I'll play open world games, racing games and simulations. 9) How many hours of battery life do you need? I don't need too much battery life. One hour is enough for me against power cut or something like that. 10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK? Buying online is OK. I don't need to see before purchasing. 11) What OS do you prefer? Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Chrome OS, etc. FreeDOS or Windows is OK for me. Screen Specifics 12) What screen resolution(s) would you prefer? (See further below for explanations.) 1920x1080 is good. Build Quality and Design 14) Are the notebook's looks and stylishness important to you? No, it isn't. Notebook Components 15) How much hard drive space do you need? 1TB or more. I can upgrade after purchasing, actually it doesn't matter. Timing, Warranty and Longevity 16) When are you buying this laptop? Summer 2019. 17) How long do you expect to use this laptop? At least five years. 18) How long could you afford to do without your laptop if it were to fail? One or two week. 19) Would you be willing to pay significantly extra for on-site warranty, or would it be acceptable to you to have to ship the laptop to the vendor for repair with perhaps a week or more outage? I'll not pay for extra warranty.
