I see the Nahimic Software Components installed but I guess the sound profiles are still controlled via the Alienware Command Center and not the Nahimic app

It uses the same technology, just coated with the AW control center.

I think nahimic software can be used on almost realtek HDA chips on Kabylake and newer gen laptops or desktops. I still think Creative Sound Blaster Pro studio and Dolby has better or best post processing audio quaility and immersiveness than nahimic.

I normally turn off all the processing except for the bass and treble ones. I don't like the compressed sound.

I only have bass set to 60% and treble set to 50% on my Area-51m. Everything else is off.

Depends on speaker size though. Do you change the settings on headphone/headset too?

Nope I almost never use headphones. Either laptop speakers or external 5.1 surround set-up (HDMI to receiver).

official partners of Nahimic listed on this page:
    https://www.nahimic.com/solutions/

they are MSI, ASUS, EVGA and Gigabyte

edit: recent Realtek UAD Gigabyte drivers seem to include the HDXClevo.inf and HDX_ClevoExt_AVO_RTK.inf files - so it looks like Clevo is joining in on the fun (is j95 aware about this?)
