Screen and back cover is freaking gorgeous. I mistook it was AMOLED, yeah it was IPS Super LCD. I thought it was an enthusiast PC looking at the packaging. Just looks, specs and OS fluidity, I'll rate it 7/10. 3 points was deducted because there is no native 4k recording & no promise of Android OS upgrades.
So, Mr. Phoenix how much will u rate the phone?

The "silver" and "red" in this phone is soooo eye catching. I seriously think I am adding this one to the extensive collection...ha ha. Device ADD here...ha ha.

Wait, didn't you just get the new blackberry? Did you already sell it?

Well I had an issue recently where I stopped receiving any SMS. I did 2 factory resets but no luck. I quickly blamed it on the BlackBerry thinking the extra security from DTEK was causing it so I sold it and got an HTC U11 only to discover that it wasn't the phone, it was an issue with my carrier.

I then bought an S8 and have put the HTC U11 for sale as well. Reason being, the HTC U11 is too big to fit in my BMW's phone cradle and doesn't support wireless charging. While the battery of the Galaxy S8 and the HTC U11 is identical, at least with the S8 I cant just put the phone in my car and have it charge wirelessly so I'm never out of juice.

You could have got a new car and kept the two phones. They look so beautiful, the infinity display on S8 and liquid metal back panel on HTC.

How much for the HTC? I been looking at them but canadian carriers dont use them. You have to buy direct. I have an HTC ONE M8 and its a real neat phone. Pure android experience compared to Samsung. Every HTC phone i have owned has a good antenna reception and gives service long after any Samsung has lost reception.

I sold mine for the following reasons:

    1) The camera has a 1-2 sec lag before it actually snaps a photo

    2) The phone was too big to fit in my BMW M4's phone charging cradle so I had to put it in the cup holder which annoyed me as I couldn't use the place dedicated for a phone in my car. Not HTC's fault but this didn't work for me

    3) No wireless charging capability on the phone so again, not only can I not fit the phone in my phone cradle in the car, but even if I could, I won't benefit from Wireless Charging

Otherwise, this is the purest Android experience, no bloat, no double apps for everything like with Samsung phones, good reception and WiFi, average battery life.

I got a Galaxy S8 which is smaller so it fits in my car and supports wireless charging and the camera is better than HTC's and snaps photos instantly when you hit the shutter button
