    yeah older laptops used to have these cards, these days just use em for extra USB 3.0 if you can, but back then we could get an Audigy soundcard going :p

    IIRC, Audigy 2 ZS (and I guess some weaker variants) was only available as PCMCIA, for ExpressCard they were X-Fi Extreme (which was some weaker model) and X-Fi Notebook cards.

    Personally, I used Audigy 2 ZS, but later on Creative drivers didn't work with more than 4GB of RAM, so I had to switch to X-Fi Notebook (had both slots on my Dell M6700). The latter was great even though it wasn't really based on a proper X-Fi processor.
