    Many thanks. Will this be applicable to the HP Omen 17 as well because the bottom base cover is plastic? Would the plastic get damaged from the heat of the Heatsink?

    Hi Mobius 1.

    Please help, I used a little to much force and I've bent my one heatsink mount retention hole that the captive screws secure into. Any idea what size the screws are that hold the heatsink onto the board because was thinking of getting the same diameter screw and screwing it in there and bending it back into position? It's gone down and to the side so have to try move it to the center and bring it up with a long nose pliers. Will this work or should I leave it as it is and just allow the other 3 screws to hold it onto the CPU. Thank you please respond

    Hi Mobius 1. Do you remember what width the thermal pads are? I have Arctic 1mm ones, will they work fine? @Mobius 1
