120W is correct; we only sold one model of PSU AFAIK.

    I'm looking into this.

    Hello ToraDora217,

Would you mind elaborating more about what setting you changed to cause the popup to occur?

    Really appreciate the feedback.

Yes, I had made some changes with the battery setting, which I lowered the processor maximum performance to 25% in power saving mode. I guess it made the system think that the Smart AC was not enough to maximize the processor performance.

Hi, I have just bought the Omen 15 laptop - 5000ne edition with 16 GB RAM, 256GB HDD & 4 GB VRAM. Just wanted to ask 2 questions on this forum to guys already owning Omen -

    - how much space of 256gigs is available for actual use?
    - does having a 4GB vram offer any thing superior in terms of gaming over 2GB vram gtx 860m?
    Thanks,

Vram is mostly responsible for games texture. If you use Enb and mods a lot you ll find them useful.

I have decided to play music from the laptop for hours today, and are experiencing choppy playback time to time. No active programs are running other than iTunes itself. Anyone else?

Check for Windows updates for other Microsoft products. Go to Windows Update and go to Change settings and make sure that's checked that might initiate an audio driver update that wasn't present before. My audio was off with choppy audio as well as terrible EQ levels when I first received my Omen but the audio driver update fixed that.

Anyone figure out how to reduce the CPU fan noise? I unchecked the fan always on option in BIOS, but the CPU fan still seems to be pretty audible..

Not sure if there's anything I can do, maybe this is just the way HP designed the CPU Fan?

The store i got my Omen from just contacted me after they took the problem to HP here in Norway.
HP ment there were some big issues with my Omen and they want me to swap it for a new one.

Hopefully the new one is a keeper :)
