Got it. Thanks. Hey so if one were to get a UJ 210 or UJ 220, what is the best one to get, the Sony one so that you can get firmware upgrades without a problem? I was thinking I'd like to get one that CAN be put into the HDX if I wanted to OR be put in an enclosure to use with other devices. Any recommendations I guess from Ebay?

Get one that is Made in Japan (for best Blu-ray reliability). This seller, for example, is known to refurbish/upgrade firmware, thoroughly check all drive functions before dispatch, and they give you a 30-day warranty:

Any place to get it new with longer or 1year warranty? Also wouldn't newer firmware for a UJ-220 make it even faster?

Uh Oh! I have little white specs showing up all over my screen. Is this the beginning of the end i.e. loss of pixels? I've not ever had this on any monitor I've owned before but it sure does not look good.

    just a couple questions first:

are you out in the snow with the dragon? the white specs might be something called snow. :)

do you have a new wallpaper that involves a snow scene? the specs might be snow in the picture. :)

    pics please?

Does that mean I might get some help from HP with regard to updating the firmware?

    No snow. lol
Nothing new. It just started showing up and noticeably got worse. Right after posting the question I put my Dragon down and just came back and there is no sign of them. I mean it just went from a few to all over the screen but are now gone. That's really weird, but thanks for the response.
