DP 4.11.3805 is not the last, working on the HDX version.
I work with DP 4.11.3826 for a long time.
See my post from the past. (03/2009)
You also had this version (4.11.3826). You did once wrote a long time ago.

    I had also tested 08/2010 version 5.1.0.175.
This works but not on our HDX. (You must not install! If you do, you have a lot of stress.)

Even with DP 4.11.3826 (and all earlier versions) causes IE crash on certain pages. (for example here)
I call this page only via in-private-browsing "on. (will not crash because DP-plugin is not loaded)

How about Firefox, I can not test. (Him have not installed)

I couldn't deal with anything smaller than 18.4" (wifey's 17.3" is okay with her, but would drive me batty); consider an HDX18, but I also understand the pay-as-you-go formula.

DP v5.10.175a (called HP SimplePass Identity Protection) DOES work on the HDX Dragon/Win7 x64, but only with AuthenTec x64 driver v8.5.0.251 (dated July 2, 2009) or later. Works with both IE9 and FF3.6.

Just the driver was my problem.
Unfortunately I do not remember which driver I tried.
But I am back to 8.4.2.0. from 05/2009.
    'll try again soon.
    Thank you for your info!

Is there still a crash when you call this page? (I assume you're using IE9 and DP v5.10.175a)

    Thanks

I didn't read it wouldn't work. Have not kept up on HD tech for a long time and have not seen that setup before.
    Much appreciated.

No crash here on that page (IE9 and DP v5.10.175a).

I have just looked again in my archives.
There, I had noted, among other things:
DP v5.10.175 is not comparable with previous versions.
This new version has not fully functional.
I therefore went back to 4.11.3826.
    Can you confirm this?

    And one more question:
Have you ever "IDT High Definition Audio Codec 6.10.6324.0" tested?
For me, this works on a test system without error.

Other users had with newer drivers apparently failed the "muting LED ".

DP 5.1 is fully functional on the hdx dragon, with all the previous functionalities you are used to in v4 also available and fully working in 5.1.

I use audio driver v6.10.5929 and never changed it (no need to do so as well).

Strange, I run v8.5.0.251 for a long time for another notebook. (no HP, and HDX ")
Here is this driver only to DP 4.01.3749.
With all later versions of DP, it came to problems.
This will soon test the HDX.

I'm running this at the moment for storage. I get about 110 mbps Read and 104 Write. I haven't tried it as an OS disk.
