I got a nice idea recently which I have not tried yet. For efficient baking, separate the compound from each edge of the video core die (don't damage any contacts on the surface, use a microscope) and apply BGA flux, make sure it goes through across the whole surface under the die and then bake it. I'm pretty sure your nVidia card will be restored forever if you do it well

Thanks a lot, but that's the 3rd attempt to revive it. I'm sure that the chip has been solded properly. NB: due to my mistake I've installed on original videocard NVIDIA N14E-GTX-A2 chip. It worked in office apps but crushed without any info in log files in games and some other apps. So the ATI card seems to me the low-cost solution to repair my laptop for casual usage: web serfing, lightweiht office apps and just the simplest games

Thanks a lot. Would you be so kind to give the link for suitable BIOS file? Or I can find this in current topic?

Sorry, all. This last entry was intended to be posted in a private message, as it is obviously off topic! Interesting, yes. Relevant to the Dragon, no.

Awesome. How long would it take to have everything copied?

I suppose just making a copy is not a good idea from copyright perspective, but I really would like to have HDX thread and some other as well) archived. The question is how to do it.
