    Hi. I buy secondary HDX 9000 with ati GPU and T9300 cpu.
    Solder 1kohm resistor to 4 pin pll chip, but in Set FSB after get FSP - freeze Crash and no reaction. No overclocking. Try throttlestop - dual IDA not working stable - show 2,7ghz, but after start test AIDA - drop to 2.5.
    Who successfully install CPU QX9300? It is possible?
    Why not working overclocking in my HDX.
    Bios F40, set fsb try pll SGLF, PGLF, - both Freeze screen, diagnostic mode (48kb read smbus) work, but change to 1mhz + or - , it is freeze too

    I would recommend you to go for my FSB1066 mod and install X9100. Works good for me. You won't need to use unstable PLL overclocking anymore.
    QX9300 mod is not possible yet because nobody couldn't find the way how to inject the modded APIC table for quads into the Dragon's legacy BIOS. If you are skillful at programming, you could do it. Just let me know, I will let you all I know

    How i can do this mod for 1066 fsb?
    Many pictures are not available on this forum for accurate installation.
    And i have cheaper t9300, and if i can be overclock him, i can get 3.0-3.5 ghz. X9100 still expensive, more expensive x9000. Most Cheaper extreme is x7800, but not recommended on this forum.

    You can't overclock non-extreme CPUs safely as something definitely goes wrong when you do PLL overclock. For the sake of system stability I recommend you to go with extreme CPUs and use Throttlestop.

    I'm working on an idea of making my own custom motherboard for the Dragon's case. Basically, any laptop's motherboard might fit by remaking it if you have schematics for that particular laptop. It will take a lot of effort, but it's worth it. Also I'm thinking on making my own inverter which could have 256 levels of brightness adjustment.
    If everything goes well, I might make something for somebody here.

    What about this setup with X9100?

    I forgot to mention that you will have to increase RAM voltage as it will get overclocked after applying the 1066 mod.
    Just replace R148 with 47kΩ (may be higher, but not lower) to raise the voltage up to 1.94v. This is the lowest stable voltage I could get. To calculate the right resistance use this equation:
    Code:
    R148=(Vout - 0.758)/0.758*R147
    Where R147 = 30100 Ω and Vout = 1.94v
    Alternatively, you can leave R148 = 43.2kΩ as it is and change R147 instead. Recommended R147 value is from 10 kΩ to 100 kΩ.
    As the north bridge is going to work at the increased frequency, it's highly recommended to raise its supply voltage too in the same way. Just replace R143 with 14.5kΩ
    Code:
    R143=(Vout - 0.758)/0.758*R172
    Where R172 = 30100 Ω and Vout = 1.125v
    Alternatively, you can leave R143 = 20.5kΩ as it is and change R172 instead. Its value is from 10 kΩ to 100 kΩ.

    Hi. How tme unlock? Some people whriten - need 1kOhm resistor pin4 to ground, some - need 50 Ohm resistor to ground. First and second variants not working for my hp hdx9000 with Ati GPU. I had in 2016 year hp hdx 9450 with 8800m gts, this both variants not working also.
    How people can unlock TME for overclocking?

    Pin 4 has to be hooked up to ground via a 1kOhm resistor. But I assume you are choosing a wrong chip name in the program.

    By the way, I have found schematics for FX3700M (from HP 8730W)
    https://www.mediafire.com/file/hvyn...LD_6050A2167001_REV_AX01_-_VGA_Board.PDF/file
    And GTS 8800M from the Dragon
    https://www.mediafire.com/file/j3sk...MXM-III_-_VGA_%28INVENTEC_ABSOLUT%29.PDF/file
    I have also found Dragon's ATI card, but the zip file was password protected, so I couldn't extract it. Will share later if I manage to do that.
