Let's see how it goes
lol guess so.
I have never introduced myself and I have not posted in this amazing forum before.
I'm from Spain.
I have been following this forum since it started, back in 2010 although I had already had my HDX9450ES laptop for a couple of years at that point.
I have repeatedly read each of your advice and instructions.
I have decided to write for the first time, because when I updated my Dragon to Windows 10, I had a problem with the drivers for the nVidia 8800 GTS graphics card.
My laptop kept freezing and I had to reboot.
A few years ago, I entered the infographics world and I needed another screen to be able to properly manage the rendering desktop.
One day, I connected my Dragon to my new 55" TV via HDMI.
Until today, 11/18/2020, I have not had any problems with the card drivers or graphics card (Nvidia 342.01 - Windows 10 64 bit).
I would like to understand why if I connect the Dragon to the TV via HDMI, it doesn't freeze.
Is it possible that I missed reading a post about this issue?
Thank you very much to you all. You do a great job.
Think its your graphics card driver - The graphics card might be entering a lower power state and freezing while on just the laptop, but when connected to your TV its staying at a high enough power to keep from freezing.
The people on here have mentioned driver compatibility before.
Nvidia 257.21 Driver: (Last useable driver on the HDX with Powermizer On)
Hope it helps. and others here might have more info.
This is just a note for Dr. Frankenstein. Just because your initial experiments in reanimation may have hit an obstacle, doesn't mean you should stop trying. Ignore the angry villagers with their flaming torches, and press on.
Your obedient servant,
Been a long time since I've been on this forum - nice to see familiar names MobileArtist in paticular! Am wondering how 2.0 is doing...
Anyway, I would like to upgrade my Dragon from Vista to Windows 10 - where would I find the drivers for the Dragon to work? Thanks!
When I installed Windows 10, it found and installed most of the drivers on its own. For the other drivers missing I used Windows 7 drivers. You can search online for the Windows 7 drivers.
A couple of weeks ago I download a 2.5Gb Zip file of all the Windows 7 drivers for the HDX9300. I can't find the link right now, It might of even been buried in this forum, I'll post it when I find it.
Hope it helps.
Thank you very much! Looking forward to the link! Did the touch panel controls (volume, dvd eject, etc) still work?
This one http://www.mediafire.com/file/ntb1e0o4a92ns19/HDX9000_Windows_7_x64_drivers.zip/file
Touch panel controls still work.
Yeah, that's the link. Thanks for finding it.
