I will ask you to specify this resistor as well.
This is about the second you mention!
I see fused about eight leads lower in this photo.
    Was there anything there?
Maybe I should look at the motherboard, but it's not disassembled now?
I want to clarify everything, because soon I will mount my X9100 and I do not want to confuse or miss anything!
I will install the processor for the purpose of overclock and with memory of 800mhz.
    I want everything done right!

It's R520. Just slightly move it closer to the chip so that the resistor could stay connected by 1 side to the chip and the other side should be connected to D502.
Then you can try to install X9100 and figure out if it's working.
The next step will be increasing RAM voltage because RAM will get overclocked after the FSB mod. You will have to replace R148 resistor with something between 48KOhm and 51KOhm like I said here http://forum.notebookreview.com/thr...-lounge-part-2.515212/page-1004#post-10907859

Bad new guys. The guy who was supposed to develop the needed utility couldn't understand the extraction algorithm. So he can't make it.

    Thanks for your reply!
I have to specify one more thing.
I am not familiar with electrical components. I have seen that there are different resistors and I do not know if I will buy the exact one.
    Regarding R148 resistor:

    Will this work for me?

Does anybody have blu ray playback working in Windows 10?
I've tried using the free Leawo Blu Ray Player software as well has downloading the 30 day trial of PowerDVD 20. Both of them play DVDs fine, but when I put in a blu ray, it acts like there is no disk in the drive.
PowerDVD actually displays a message saying there is no disk in the drive when I try to play a blu ray.
Is there something wrong with the driver for the HDX optical drive (BC-5500A)?
The drive shows up in Device Manager without warnings.
I do have 3 Base System Devices showing in Device Manager, and I'm not sure which ones they are. Maybe that's related?

It appears I just needed to clean the lenses on my HDX's blu ray drive. Apparently, when the blue laser is dirty enough, Windows treats the drive like a DVD drive instead of a blu ray drive.
After some cleaning with alcohol it seems to now work.

It now shows in Windows Explorer as BD-ROM Drive.

BTW, uninstalled PowerDVD 20 trial, as it seemed to freeze a lot. Leawo Blu Ray Player seems to work well enough for what I need.
The world's best portable blu ray disc player is working again!

Which utility are you referring to? The graphics card upgrade, or something else?
