no, the 32xx motherboard is Ivy Bridge (3xxxx) NOT Sandy Bridge (2xxx)

I'm not 100% sure (its been a while since I went over all the specs), but the 32xx has a motherboard based on Intel 7 series tech. Shouldn't it be backwards compatible with Sandy bridge? ESPECIALLY since the jump from sandy to ivy was a minor jump in Intel's tick-tock sequence......

Yes, Intel's 7 series mobile chipset will support 2nd and 3rd gen processors. HP's bios might not like it though.

HP's bios definitely wouldn't like it. Its like when you were younger and there was that kid that never shared their toys.....

I literally just installed the latest catalyst drivers on my 17t-3200 3D in order to try oversampling my display while playing games (doesn't work). Nothing to report here since I haven't really even pushed it

I installed an 840 evo msata samsung it works on sata III speed.
    Great!!!

But when adding an msata drive, the computer automatically defaults to the msata as a boot drive. Can't change the boot order of the hdds in the BIOS.

Hey everyone, new guy here. I have an Envy 17-3209NR and I'm having some issues. First off, the back light in the screen went out, but, my problem is, when I try to get into the BIOS, after pressing the escape key, my laptop doesn't seem to boot, if I turn it off, then restart it and don't push any buttons, it starts fine. And I'm also trying to do a fresh install of Windows 7 from a USB flash drive, but, I can't get into the BIOS to change the boot order. Seems if I push any buttons, it won't boot. Please help me. Thanks in advance.
