Moninfo can tell you lots of other data, like build date for example! A possible way to identify the different screens!

I'll run it again when I'm home. Byuunbi, any chance you'll get to compare your new panel with your Dell ultrasharp again for faded blues?

I went to Frys to purchase a Spyder Calibrator (which I'll post results of shortly) and they had an E15 32XX on display. I setup a hotspot on my phone and compared colors with the other laptops around it and it definitely had the same faded blue colors that my two E15 have.

Either I just happened to test 3 bunk panels or these blues are the same as everyone else. Let's see what the Spyder says later tonight or in the morning.

wow now im wondering if im wrong lol but idk but mine seem to have deep blues... what panel are you coming off of? im coming from some mediocre ones so this one seems awesome.

also which laptops did u compare with? only valid onesi would think would be the old xps with fhd, the zenbook primes or retina display

I'm pretty certain the spyder will confirm your observations. If anything, I'm more curious to see results from people with an accurate panel. Thanks for being so diligent, though; I'm sure many of us appreciate it.

Anything with blue is noticeably different. I use facebook because it's easy.

Did a Spyder Calibration and Analysis.

    Envy 15 32XX IPS: 80% sRGB, 63% aRGB
    Envy 14 Radiance: 100% sRGB, 85% aRGB

Everything looks good but Notice the big jump in Delta at the Cyan/Blue.

Very interesting, many thanks. The screen in the 31XX
was supposedly 60% gamut...I wonder if the new one is actually 33% better? And did you notice an improvement in overall color with calibration?
