Hey, yeah I have and it doesn't solve the problem. I've been mailing a little with a very helpful guy at HP Support, and for now it seems like the issue is between the D-Link router and the Envy network card. Its just very odd that all problems disappear once the power plug is in the Envy..

Hey all... I previously owned an Envy 14 (Core i5) and Envy 13 (loved the 13) and although I eventually sold the 13 I sold the 14 due to the REALLY annoying fan cycling issue. Even after tweaking to an inch of it's life the damn fan still cycled every 10 seconds.

Question 1: What's the fan like on the 14-2002ea Beats?
Question 2: Does the new model still use the slice batteries?

I'm literally ready to click the buy button.

You could look at the SAMSUNG Series 7 for an alternative. I'm getting that today.

Would the model with the i5 2410m cycle? And what is the noise like, as I would prefer it be silent or a quiet whirring? I am currently deciding between the envy 2020nr or the elitebook 8560p.
