I'd seriously consider a K4100m or a GTX 965m .......I know the K4100m works and I actually had a GTX 965m working in one of mine for years. Both are not too hard on finances

Another member of this forum said that the K1XXXM series doesn't work without being flashed with a Dell Bios. Is that true?

Does the K1XXXM series plug into the same socket and heatsink as the 5000M?

I'm going to have my repair guy do the installation, so I want a straightforward installation.

Same questions apply to the GTX 965m

    Thanks

My GTX 965m is of the Dell/MSI/Alienware variety you commonly see on Ebay........ I have *heard* the K4100m should be dell or flashed dell ....... [Edit] I hate to say the K4100m *has* to be Dell or not without having owned one myself .....

I had a GTX 860m that worked quite well until it gave up the ghost (That is the reason I have the GTX 965m is the noble 860m's passing) I know for sure the 780m does well ......I can't imagine the 870m having any issues based on all that....
