How many shared memory does the 6310M use at 4GB? Since If I get 4GB Ram and the GPU uses around 512, I think it be find staying on 32bits. I cant be bothered to do a fresh install etc.

    Hi all
Price set aside, is there a reason I would want to place an order direct for the laptop vs buying one at Best Buy? From what I understand the only difference is the size of the HD correct? Any other differences or disadvantages with buying one at Best Buy?

    Thanks!

Cheers. A bit nerve wrecking, but I finally worked it off and got my windows 7 key. Will have to do it again shortly to upgrade the memory. I love how in the video the guy just sticks his thumb under the tab and shakes the whole thing till it hits the desk... RALOL... I've watched that bit about 5 times now!

Thanks, so I guess 4GB be alright, I don't tend to use much ram anyways (basic games etc). So 3GB would be enough but I like the sound of 4GB ram :p

    hehe!

I bet games that will require more ram will require more of everything else :D
Anyway, you can sell 1gb stick and dump in a 4gb.
