I have a couple of questions about upgrading my 6930P. The first is about the display, if I replace my 1200 x 800 ccfl display with a 1440 x 900 ccfl display will it work or do I need to change other components?
The second about the hard disk, given it has a SATA II interface and that I do not use it for manipulating large files is there an benefit to using an SSD compared to an SSHD? Thanks for nay help.

There is always a benefit of using an SSD, much lower access time being the massive upgrade between an SSD and an HDD, plus lower power usage, and no noise/vibration, given the price of SATA SSD's vs an SSHD, go for a SSD.

To reply to my own question I just fitted a 1440 x 900 display in place of the original 1200 x 800 one and it works perfectly.
