SPDTool is oooooooold, it's just luck if it works on DDR3 or not...there was an older demo of Thaiphoon that allowed writing...don't know which version...

it is old, i just using it to write, not changing any bytes, 6,3 TPH but working only at 32bit systems. :/

I ordered A-DATA Premier Series 8GB DDR3 1333 single stick, CL 9!! most slow stick which i found, I hope it will handle OC. dual channel seems to be problem, since both sticks can run at higher clocks with 7 7 7 7 20.

anyway I really thanks for help, I still dont know why, 533@CL9 samsung wont boot, if motherboard start ignoring spd tables :/

At the end he forced his 1333 sticks to work like they are 1066 but with 9-9-9 timings which looks similar to what you are doing. He didn't OC higher than he already did before (check last post).

But yeah, perhaps you laptop is different too much to be Oced good.

Why couldn't you just try to buy it on NBR marketplace for much cheaper?

@prema I suggest you to not touch all that deviders. Just change timings (as you did) and add support to CL10 and 11.

:O didnt know about marketplace, Ill check it, but honestly its not expensive(57$) with free postage, in this case postage from foreign countries can be half of price. Btw I am not even sure if my QUANTA can handle solo 8gb stick :)

    533 8-9-9-24-33-74-4-10-5-5

I took every timing, multiplied it on 5 and divided it on 4.
Don't know why does it have CL8 instead of CL9 but I am sure it will be fine.

It's because its the same profile, just left "raw" with double tables etc... ;)

You may try to clear the Cmos or just reset the bios to default...it may not read the changed tables, because it has the old ones stored in NVRAM...

    He's now in your hands James...got to go...maybe make him a full CL10 table @ 533...GOOD LUCK dadik ;)

BTW: James where were you when he spent money on extra RAM, don't tell me you were again sleeping, like when I ordered the XT, ha ha ha :D
