how to write alt+xxx characters

    well pretty much the title says it. I need to write alt+137 (ë) for example but the m14x doesn't have a numpad or numbers under the letters for FN use. the numbers above the letters don't work either. anybody got the hang of it :)

    Use an external keyboard? You can use the on-screen keyboard in the windows accessibility options.

    yes I wrote that character (alt+137) on the post with a onscreen keyboard but it would be more convenient if there is some shortcut integrated using FN or smth.

    Only easy way I can think of is to open up the start menu, type "charmap", hit [Enter] and you'll have a list of characters where you can just copy paste.

    thanks, the charmap on start is faster than a virtual keyboard. i guess there's no shortcut.
