    jedisurfer1, yes, it does. But the first time you run TB on Win7 x64 select "Run as administrator" from a context menu of Thaiphoon.exe

    You can always look through the speedbins in thaiphoon, and load something you would have bought to upgrade your RAM and see if they will work on the RAM AW sent you. That what I did... works like a charm, making my cheap Hynix ram have exact details of the 2133mhz cas 12 RAM on the market.

    Course you still need some experience and RAM knowledge but , theres some tutorials out there. Use them.

    Interesting.. you actually had Hynix ram that wasn't write protected?

    I just took a look at my alienware m11x Hynix ram and under PSWP write protection the SMBus' are greyed out.. guess that means I'm SOL right?

    Can I mod a ddr3-1333 dimm to a ddr3U-1333 stick?

    The a10-5750m supports only ddr3-1866, ddr3L-1600, and ddr3u-1333... Normal = 1.5v L = 1.35v U = 1.25v
