How to Load Windows 7 on a CF-30 MK1 Model

    On your vdrrt3 drive were you using the OEM USB cable. This has happened to me and found that the cheap cable I was using was not any good.

    Azrial,

    Someone in the MK2 thread I think showed that to get the hotkeys to work correctly across the board that you needed to install the older version of the video driver. Since I started doing that my Fn keys work for everything. (And show up on the screen as doing so!) It might be posted earlier in this thread... But definitely on the "How to install W7 on an MK2 model" thread...

    Hey,
    I am having issues getting the cf-30 mk1 with vista to even recognize the pen touching the screen. Ive loaded all the drivers from Rob's site I have the correct bios I dont know what I am doing wrong can you help me?

    Before you loaded Vista on the 30 did the touchscreen work ? Could you post the full model number of this CF-30

    It's not unusual for the Touchscreens to crap out... Did it work before?

    I would like to do this but can't figure out MK1 MK2 etc. I have a CF30FWSAXAM. Is this model upgradable to win7? It has win xp now with a Intel Core 2 duo processor. John
