Show me an image of where it shows you that it's installed

And how are you saying it indicates it's installed, then you sat right below that "Wont install."

To solve the "error code 0x803FB005", try this:

    1. Clear Windows Store Cache

Press Winkey + R to open Run box

    Type WSreset.exe > Press Ok

    Retry installing software.

    2. Install using Safe Mode with Networking.

Start > Type Msconfig in Search Bar

    Click on Boot Tab

Select Safe Boot > Select Network

    Click Apply, Ok

    Reboot the system

    Try installing the app again

When finished, go back to Boot Tab in msconfig and Uncheck Safe Boot.

    Click Apply, Ok

Reboot and the system will Load Windows in Normal mode.

    @AU4U

I was tweaking someone's computer today via TeamViewer and when trying to install the Synaptics app, he got the same error like you. Then I thought of checking his driver version for the Synaptics Touchpad, it was 19.5.31.3 so I then went to device manager > mice and other pointing devices > right click on "Synaptics SMbus TouchPad" then choose Update Driver and let Windows update the driver it will download the Synaptics Driver 19.5.31.11 then after rebooting, we tried to install the app again and it installed just fine.

I did a clean install as recommended by MS to fix the missing Windows TP control problem .... It didn't fix it, is still missing.
After the install I had the Nvidia and SynTP bugs. Fixed the Nvidia bug. PATCHED the SynTP bug. I still don't have the Windows TP controls.

Unfortunately for MSI and Microsoft, the answer to this issue was patched here, and not by either of them. Shameful that MSI blamed Microsoft, and MS blamed MSI., each passing the buck to each other....Nothing was done about this issue.
So ... Ultra Male ... Who's to be accountable for this problem?

BTW, a +2 rep on the OP.

Oh my god, please I need help.
I have a GT73VR, and after the last Microsoft automatic driver update it installed 19.5.31.11, which is horrible!
The sensibility of my touchpad now is unusable when I try to make little movements. Aren't you guys experiencing this problem?

I installed the MS Store app, and configured the touchpad exact the same settings I had before, and it still sucks.
Before the FORCED update, I had version 19.3.4.193, that worked flawlessly.

I tried going back to my old version, but windows keeps updating to the latest buggy one. I tried disabling windows driver updates on regedit, but windows just ignores and auto update all my drivers.

I don't know what to do anymore. I want my old stable version, can you help?
