    This may be a bit late but.....:D
    Norton has a utility on thier website that completely removes Norton from your system. Add/remove programs doesn't get rid of everything.

    That's the ultimate question.

    I'd give more than $1 if someone like Bootleg2go/Jack would start a new thread about how to optimze a Vista system.

    I have serious trepidation about trusting tech advice posted in 2004.

    follow this guide: guide
    see number 2
    make sure you run it as administrator

    Guys, I play a lot of games on my notebook but I don't know how much Page File I should allocate to Vista. What should I set the Initial and Maximum sizes to? I have 2GB of RAM.

    I've read that I should set it to the same amount otherwise your system could have performance problems 'switching' (for a lack of a better word) between sizes.

    What are your inputs?

    dsam...Just leave it to determine the size of pagefile itself...you will be fine.

    I noticed a number of people looking for a specific Vista tweak thread...
