    Hello,

I had a P-172X FX which broke in February. I sent it in, and 3 months later they sent me my Acer laptop as a replacement. Then, in June, they sent me the still-broken P-172. However, I was away on internship and just returned to my apartment to find three delivery attempt notifications and then a return to shipper notice. I really want to try to fix that laptop myself now that I'm not afraid of voiding the warranty, so I contacted Gateway chat. I gave them the serial number and they said they no longer had the repair records and couldn't help me.

At this point, I have only the serial number and the UPS tracking number, which confirms that it was signed for at the Gateway warehouse back in June. I'd like to get that laptop back if at all possible... what's the best way to go about it?

Make copies of your correspondence and all relevant paperwork, contact Gateway and insisting on speaking to a supervisor

    Good luck

    cheers ...
