Oh dear, so is there no way to back up before I try flashing the VBIOS mod?

I'm surprised as I was able to backup the vBIOS using the NVFlash.. on my 970M.. Just use a older version which Svl7 has... Look on techinferno for his vBIOS flashing guide..

Isn't that what the VGA BIOS collection on TPU is for?

Did anyone solved the mistery of how to backup the vbios? I am facing the same issue with GPU-Z, NVFlash for DOS, Windows, Prema modified etc. My laptop is HP Zbook 15 G3 using Quadro M2000M.

I disabled the card, tried with --protectoff, but nothing works. Vbios can not be dumped.

    Thanks

Whilst saving stock vBIOS use safe mode and stock nvflash. When flashing Premamod's vBIoS use modded nvflash with certificate bypass version to flash it.

Which stock version of NVFlash? I tried several stock (including safe mode) but all output the same message. Thank you.

Did that (in my first post). The result is the same.

There must be some sort of protection. Thank you anyway.
