Depends on the reseller/company you got it from. The Clevo Reseller I got it from (Eurocom) does not care about modded vBIOSes and BIOSes since they are an official Prema Partner Shop.

If you give the system back with that vBIOS flashed ,then yes. Otherwise you can get away with it.

Mythlogic doesn't mind, and I believe neither does Sager. I actually up-front told Myth I was going to use svl7's vBIOS because I was getting artifacting at 120Hz and they said "ok, cool!"

That kind of flashing is only useful up until Kepler cards. Maxwell cards cannot be flashed like that, as far as I know. And neither Pascal.

As for backing up the vBIOS, maybe it might work, but don't be surprised if that one doesn't.

Really? What's the procedure with Maxwell then?

NVFlash had to be modified. You run the flasher in windows. Disable the GPU via Device Manager and run the flash then reboot (though I believe the flasher should do the disabling for you, but since I've no Maxwell cards and never tried a Maxwell card, I don't really know).

Actually my sisters have 965Ms... I could probably use their N155RFs as test monkeys.
