    Just doing a little poll here - I'm curious to how much everybody's laptop weighs (inc. the battery and optical drive if it has one).

    5.5lbs with battery and travelers drawer

    5.9lbs with optical drive and battery.

    edit: Your sig has a typo, PC4300 ram? :eek:

    Give him a break... the 2 and the 3 key are adjacent to one another :D

    Mine weighs about the same (considering it's pretty much the same chassis)... 5.7-6 lbs

    Mines a DTR so it weights:

    7.97 pounds w/o adapter

    Probably around 8.5 pounds w/ adapter

    Supposedly around 6 pounds with the 12 cell battery.

    Nope, not a typo. There is PC4300 and PC4200, and mind has 4300...I'm not sure of the difference exactly.

    Oh, yeah my notebook weighs in at 7.5lb ;)
