I just did a clean install on my M11x and installed some, but not all of my previous applications and games. Would there be any harm in replacing the newly created AppData folder with the one I backed up previously? This is the folder that keeps all my hidden libraries for iTunes, Outlook, Windows Live, etc... Thanks!

If you are talking about the C:\Users\<username>\AppData\ folder, then you are fine. There is no harm in overwriting your current AppData folder with a backup from a previous computer.

However, I would overwrite the folder in Safe Mode, so that you have as few files open as possible. I would also recommend that you do not replace the Microsoft folder, as it contains some Windows settings that may conflict with your new install if done improperly.

Cool! I may selectively pick a couple folders to restore instead of the entire folder.

I would definitely recommend the "Selectively pick a few folders" approach. I have done that in the past successfully.
