Hey @Phoenix and @Donald@HIDevolution my laptop just arrived and for my frustration when I turn it on it just show a blue screen error. I tried everything but no luck. Please see the attached picture.

    Thank you in advance, msi65doA.jpg

    Best regards,

    Ricardo.

First, go into your BIOS and ensure you are in RAID mode not AHCI, fish around in the menus till you see that.

Also ensure that UEFI is enabled. If that doesn't work, watch the below video

Skip to the time 1:34 in this video and try those solutions:

When you've managed to boot from the installation media you need to click the Repair Your PC link on the second page after the Choose a Language and Keyboard layout page.

That will get you to the Advanced Troubleshooting options.

You can then use the Command prompt option to attempt to repair your PC.

Type this in the command prompt:

    bootrec /fixboot
    hit enter
    bootrec /fixmbr

    hit enter
    bootrec /rebuildbcd

    hit enter
    reboot your computer

If none of that works... File an RMA with HID. They wouldn't be shipping a BSODing laptop intentionally so they'll sort it out.

Hi @Phoenix I created the installation media, managed to boot it and went to the command prompt, but when I hit enter after the commands it returns Access is denied

    Any clue?

    Please let me know friend.

A little off-topic question for you:
Was SATA Controller set to RAID or AHCI in BIOS? i.e after Mr phoenix asked to check BIOS settings.
Which W10 version did you install or was installed? FCU v1709 or Spring v1803?

well i've got similar issues, my raid went dead due to power cutoff and i tried creating it again in bios (delete, and make again)
it does show in bios as status-normal and i do set intel optane ... (instead of ahci), then i'm trying to boot with latest Rufus (3.0) created flash usb (chose .iso and specified drive) with win10x64 1803 installation .. once it boots, it goes blue screen with some error
i actually tried a lot before giving up, even got to the point of installing ahci first and then switching to raid, but it showed as dead raid
then i just low level formatted both drives and installed ahci+legacy, had to forget about raid :(
would be awesome if someone posts instructions on installing and making raid

Damn, wish I had known those commands a couple weeks ago! Had this exact screen after trying to boot into safe mode (DDU) using MsConfig. I had to do a clean install which took me half the day because my Macrium Reflect backup wouldn't work and my Micro$haft back up was useless as well.
