Hi all, this is my first post here I'm seeking for some assistance with throttle stop

I ve bought a asus rog strix g531 with:
    I7 7950h
    32gb ram 2666hz
    Rtx 2070
    Samsung 960 evo

So I've monitorized the temps on ffxv on the cpu going up to 95c Gpu was and is stable 75c.

So right from the start I've changed the thermal paste application and reapplied LM to it. I've downloaded throttle stop and undervolt to - 0.118v. What I've noticed the speedshift was to 128. (what are the speedshift default settings before using throtthlestop on windows 10?). Because if I set it to 0 or to 1 temps go to 95c. So did the undervolt matter and LM? I get same temps and same FPS. So what is le point
Also is 95c safe as long as it does not throttle?
On the other side for example metro exodus, even if I disable turbo, I get the same fps on ultra settings at 2560mhz so here it doesn't matter. So on my conclusion depending o. The game I'm playing what I do is I mess with the speedshift until my cpu matches the Gpu temp. On the other side I was hoping that when I play on turbo, I could just have my speed shift to 1 /0 for gaming (even tho on some games there is no diff).

I was wondering also if molding my heatsink and adding another extra heat pipe would help. I've seen some people adding pipes on YouTube.

    What do you guys think?

    Thank you

Lots of questions. There is a long ThrottleStop Guide forum in the Hardware Components and Aftermarket Upgrades section, so you would benefit from reading and posting your question there. To get you started: Both ThrottleStop and Windows can change Speedshift values - it is much easier to decide which, so they play together. A balanced power profile would correspond to about 128, and 0 would be maximum performance. But simply setting Speedshift to 0 should not push temps to 95 unless you are stressing the CPU. Throttling is not dangerous - it is a way of protecting the chip. When you post in the TS forum, it would be helpful for you to post screenshots of your settings so that folks there can help you. UncleWebb (author of TS) is often there, and has helped many people get more performance out of their laptops.
Let us know how it goes.

    Best,
