I keep wanting to do a permenant dual boot on my DV6000t with XP and Vista Prem, but Vista seemed to annoying to deal with.

But now, it seems that there are driver fixes to some of my biggest issues i was having. However, i still dont need 40 processes running in the background!

I used to be the king at trimming down the services and background crap on my pc's, being able to use minimal resources yet maintain perfect functionality.

i have tried looking for guides on how to trim it down, and what all the processes and services do, but no luck.

Does anyone here have and guides, or info they can share? i think i might put vista back on .

    i'd appreciate the help :)

    Try BlackViper's guide.
His XP guide was the best, and now he has returned and is churning out new material, which is great.
Can't say how good the Vista guide there is as I haven't got Vista, but I bet it's pretty good.
    Hope this helps.
