Help with selecting laptop for video editing

    Looking for recommendations for a new laptop to be used for live-streaming, recording, and relatively intense video editing/rendering. I've been told I'll need at least 16GB ram, 512GB SSD main drive, something with multiple cores.

    1) What is your budget? $2000-$2500

    2) What size notebook would you prefer? - Desktop Replacement; 17"+ screen
    3) Which country will you buying this notebook? USA

    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
    a. Like: HP, Dell, Lenovo
    b. Dislike: ASUS
    5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistributed? No

    6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook? Video editing/rendering, live streaming with multiple cameras

    7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both? Both

    8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? (If so, please state which games or types of games?) No games

    9) How many hours of battery life do you need? 4-6 hours

    10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK? on-line purchase
