    1) What is your budget?
    $600-$1000 CAD

    2) What size notebook would you prefer?
    c. Thin and Light; 13" - 14" screen
    d. Mainstream; 15" - 16" screen
    3) Which country will you buying this notebook?
    Canada

    4) Are there any brands that you prefer or any you really don't like?
    No preference
    5) Would you consider laptops that are refurbished/redistributed?
    Yes if I can save good money otherwise I just prefer brand new

    6) What are the primary tasks will you be performing with this notebook?
    Browsing, Netflix, Facebook, Twitch and Software Development activities (Visual Studio 2019, nodeJS etc)

    7) Will you be taking the notebook with you to different places, leaving it on your desk or both?
    Both

    8) Will you be playing games on your notebook? (If so, please state which games or types of games?)
    No

    9) How many hours of battery life do you need?
    Doesn't really matter

    10) Would you prefer to see the notebooks you're considering before purchasing it or buying a notebook on-line without seeing it is OK?
    I guess online is OK but having a good return policy would be good.

    11) What OS do you prefer? Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Chrome OS, etc.
    Windows but it doesn't need to have an OS I will be installing by myself.

    I would like 1080p but will accept suggestions

    Doesn't matter as I still have a desktop

    19) Would you be willing to pay significantly extra for on-site warranty, or would it be acceptable to you to have to ship the laptop to the vendor for repair with perhaps a week or more outage?
    Ship the laptop is fine.

    Other comments:
    As I mentioned this laptop will be used for just day to day things like browsing and some development activities as well.
    The main thing that I am looking for is something small and light that I can easily use at bed or carry with me.
    Must have features that I am looking for: 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM and backlit keyboard.
